There’s freedom in how we play in the water. My new street photography is beach photography.

The emotions are recognizable - joy, liberty, and a sense of the unexpected. The water and shadows not only obscure the identity of my subjects but they are part of their creation, the moving sculpture caught by the lens of my camera.

Liberty is leaving perfection behind and creating. Freedom is anonymity. 

These photos are my homage to the ethereal light of Lisbon, Portugal.

Simply splashing water creates amazing sculptures. All the more expressive, since they are short-lived, bursts of synergy between two forces of nature, water and humans.
